Susan Macarthur
Susan is a fellow of the Society of Designer Craftsmen. She studied Fine Art at Califonia State Long Beach and Long and Laguna Beach School of Art and whilst drawing, painting and sculpting discovered fabric and stitch. On returning to England she has gone on to experiment with different techniques and materials to portray the human form.
"I come from a background of a life drawing/painting and have always been drawn to the drama of the human form. My work is a combination of painting together with fabric, thread, paper,acylic, paint and fabric dyes"
