"My paintings are an exploration of the experience of landscape. I am interested in the way in which we remember and store the images of our surroundings, particularly focusing on the effects of light. Using long exposure photography as a starting point I then employ traditional oil painting methods to achieve a rich, depth of colour in order to portray our inner vision."
