My subject acts as a vehicle to explore colour and compositional relationships and therefore works verge on abstraction. However, inspiration is drawn from manmade and natural landscapes. Originally inspired by travel, I now tend to work from what is around me, applying the same values to each work.
The past 2 years have seen several commissions including a portrait of Geno Washington, signed by the singer, for charity auction.
